Henry Mensen, an international businessman and developer originally from Canada, discovered Ambergris Cay on one of his many journeys
through the Turks & Caicos Islands. Awed by its beauty, he dove the island's unexplored waters, roamed beaches and explored historic
ruins. Mensen purchased Ambergris Cay in 1995 and slowly brought civilization to the island, using sun and wind to create electricity.
In 1998, Henry Mensen met Peter Pollak and Steve Schram and formed an amazing partnership that gave birth to Turks & Caicos Sporting Club.
Today, the founders are thrilled to be making their dream come true. A private island community sheltered from the outside world, where members
have access to every imaginable amenity and activity. A place where families can connect.
